Clarity of Cognition

Kathy has a BA in language education, and is a commercial real estate agent with
a strong sales and marketing background. She began her fitness career teaching
yoga and water aerobics as an AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor, with
special emphasis on the senior population. While teaching her private yoga
classes and aerobics in local Senior Centers, she also provided care for various
members of her immediate family suffering from dementia.

As she earned additional fitness certifications, and began extensive research on
Alzheimer’s and dementia, Kathy became disillusioned by the confusion and
often misinformation regarding the diagnosis and care of those suffering from
these dreaded diseases. This, combined with the sheer number of students
asking for assistance empowered Kathy to create a series of lectures and seminars
which would “cut through” much of the depressing information and offer hope
and encouragement for patients and caregivers.

Through her specialized certification as a Brains and Balance™ Specialist. Kathy
has access to 40+ proprietary brain drills, and also writes her own. Many
independent and assisted living facilities will bring Kathy in for an hour of a
challenging, yet fun activity for their residents.

She's also certified in Yoga For Dementia, and offers private Hatha Yoga and
mindful relaxation sessions as in-service for major corporations, looking for stress
relief for their employees .

Through KAH PRESENTATIONS LLC Kathy has brought her dynamic and engaging
lecture style to venues in and around the Detroit Metro area. Since she is
constantly updating as research and treatments unfold, many clients will
bring her back annually.
